Potentiality In Handicap - Ologun Precious

How can I had possibly forgotten 25th January 2000? It's was a sweating afternoon at saint savior street. I was helpless and couldn't even comprehend where I was. I tried to get up from the ground, but I couldn't. I thought it's was all over, when I had a gentle tap on my left arm. It was swizzle. "I can't feel my body," I said, still breathing heavily. He quickly rushed me to the hospital where the doctor declared I was paralyzed. I couldn't even understand what had happened to me.

For three years, I struggled to succeed in my career. But all my efforts went in vain. I sorted out things I could do without much stress. Then I remembered I was good at teaching. Soon, I spread the news to my friends and neighbors. In no time they all joined my lessons. I taught them how to construct a good and catchy poem without charging them Money. As teaching was part of the blood that runs in my vein. Soon the number of my students grew from 10 to 20 and from 20 to 50. I now realized that I could also learn from my teachings. Subsequently, I noticed that the number of my students had grown from 50 to 200.

However, I discovered that even doctors can make mistakes. They had diagnosed my illness wrongly. But on the other hand, I thanked them. If I hadn't received the wrong diagnosis I would have remembered my teaching potential. I learned from that day; "Don't let your circumstances deprived you of making changes in your environment".
